Felix Lee is the Forensic Accident Reconstruction Expert at Collision Reconstruction Consulting LLC, an accident reconstruction consulting firm in Los Angeles. Mr. Lee was previously Director of Accident Reconstruction at National Biomechanics Institute, Mechanical Engineer at CASE Forensics, and Project Engineer at MEA Forensic. Mr. Lee holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Mr. Lee is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California and an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (i.e. drone) pilot through the Federal Aviation Administration. Mr. Lee is also certified for the operation of the English XL Variable Incident Tribometer.

Mr. Lee’s expertise is in motor vehicle accident reconstruction. He has analyzed over 1,200 transportation incidents over the past 10 years. Mr. Lee investigates and reconstructs collisions involving passenger cars, commercial trucks, vans, buses, motorcycles, bicycles, golf carts, and pedestrians. He has experience conducting engineering assessments of impact severity, vehicle speed and dynamics, collision sequence, occupant movement, damage matching, driver avoidance potential, event data recorders (EDRs), seat belt usage, airbag deployment, and rollover analysis. Mr. Lee conducts vehicle inspections of components including airbags, seatbelt, seats, and tires to evaluate the potential origin and cause of failure. He also examines collision sites and documents evidence using total stations, drones, and laser scanners.
